OpenCovid-Peru

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I co-founded OpenCovid-Peru, a volunteer data initiative that helped track the true impact of the pandemic in Peru. Our work led to meetings with President Sagasti and presentations to Congress.

Ragi Yaser Burhum is a Peruvian serial entrepreneur with 20+ years in tech. He founded venture-backed startups AmigoCloud, ModeWalk (acquired by Moda Operandi), and a stealth crypto startup. His experience spans GIS, gaming, e-commerce, and crypto compliance analytics.

Ragi Yaser Burhum is a Peruvian serial entrepreneur and technologist with over two decades of experience in the tech industry. He has founded multiple venture-backed startups: AmigoCloud, a geospatial platform accelerated by Code for America and Stanford StartX; ModeWalk, a luxury e-commerce company accelerated by Stanford StartX and acquired by Moda Operandi; and a stealth startup in the crypto space. His career has spanned GIS technology at companies including Esri, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and AmigoCloud; video games working on Microsoft Flight Simulator at MS Game Studios; and e-commerce. He knows how to build SaaS platforms from the ground up and manage engineering teams. For the past four years, Ragi has been working in the crypto space, building analytics solutions for compliance programs including KYC and anti-money laundering. He is passionate about technology, AI, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and investing.
